Agony of Love

Pain drifts sweetly
Across my mind
Forever forsaking love
Of any kind

I die to the
Ever blossoming
Storms within me

Rising just below the clouds
I sink into my shell
Misery wraps me up like a blanket
On cold winter nights

I sing sweet victory
Never again will one hurt me
My heart beats with ever agony

No more listening
To blue bird's song
The chime hanging outside my window
Has long rusted down

I don't hear that music anymore
Long died like the love that once beat within my heart
The songs of a weeping willow are the only thing I hear.

Crying tears of Rain

Crying black tears of rain
I sit shrouded in blame
I never meant to hurt you
I never meant to cry
I only wanted to know you
Bye and bye

I sang a song of friendship
I sang a song of love
I care about you anyway
But not the way it seemed

Drops of water flowing from my eyes
I never meant to hurt you
I never meant to cry.
I only wanted to know you
Bye and bye

My love is for friendship
Nothing means more
I want you to know this
I care more
Please don't hate me
I could never stand that.

I never meant to hurt you
I never meant to cry
I only wanted to know you
bye and bye.

CRY'S FROM WITHIN

CRY'S FROM WITHIN

Blood and tears drown my sleep
as I listen to the anger burning inside me
Black souls weep at thundering clouds
bringing me closer to my will

Scarlet clothes drenched in rain
screaming for the sun
I stand crying for release
holding onto an opened letter

Vital fluids stain my hands
as I reach for tomorrow
Hearing no calls for aid

I slip the knife just a little bit deeper
walking away glad that life is over
she never wanted it anyway.

Crazy

Lies, lies, and more lies
They're all around me
I get sick of lies
It's foolish pride
but hey
It's just a game you see
Like many more
The selfish are poor
Running in a daze

There's many more you see
and tomorrow another day
Saw some old friends
and some new
Everyone thinks I am a fool
LOL, but I know
I always know.
Why do I let this go on
To see where it goes curiosity killed the cat.
I always was too curious for my own good.

Stand up in the crowd
listen to the roaring laughter
stand up and take a bow
meet the greatest actor
you ever saw.
I smile and laugh
and you stumble and fall, lol.

Lived to See

Worlds of love once
Caressed your skin
Cherished your words
Each and every one
Clung to every touch of your finger
Embraced every tone in your voice
Both good and bad
In hopes that it would last and last and last

But the energizer bunny did go bad
Now she's mad. It's getting out of town time fast
At least for him
She's dressed in black and looking reputable, searching
How much money do you want to bet that she finds it?

Bored with the game he played.
Leaving him behind
Tear stained eyes
She moves on
To dumb to know what he had lost
She laughs because she knows.
She knows too well
And someday he will too.

Years later:
Don't you cry, said a friend.
You dry your eyes
Maybe energizer can make another bunny
I doubt it, she's one of a kind.
There can be no other
Now he's got her
It's plain to see she is like something I have never seen
Wild and Free
Too bad, I stayed drunk and missed it.

My Life

Happiness flows freely
In a river that's not run dry.
Smiling embraces my face and hair
Things are different
Time has passed
I've moved on
And I'm glad
I wanted more
Something that wasn't for me
But thank God someone up above knew more than me.

My life is free now
I can dance and sing
Allowing peace to come in and cleanse me
Laughter reigns when I think of my future
It holds such fun things
I can't wait to meet you.
I'm happy about what's coming now
I have nothing to dread
I've put it all in God's hands
Cause he does know best.

Don't just sit there and cry

What's there to be happy about?
One person said.
Happiness is a state of mind.
It's a choice you see
It's up to you
Choose and you will see.

Your child is a reason to be happy
Endless possibilities are hidden in each day
Find them and experience all the joys meant to be
Smile today is a new day
Forget about the sorrows life brings
Loved one's passed were a joy to have.
What if you never had them?
Be glad you see for what you had and have

Dance, sing, make your own music.
Enjoy who you are.
Forget about everyone else
Forget about all the lies
Do they even matter?
Tell them all to kiss your Hooray
Don't let people upset you.

Dress up, do your thing
Dance and sing
Enjoy life
Take pictures
Let everyone see
The smile on your face
The one is hidden inside
Waiting for you to decide
Your life is worth living.

Get on with you're life

I sit here in tears as I realize the damage that has been done
the pain, the suffering, and whatever else you want to pile on
but I don't want to remember this you see
I want to go on with my life and be happy and free

I want to forget about him and what all he did to me
It's in the past and let that past be
I don't want to go back there
I'm moving on
I'm not staying stuck in the mud
With more pain suffering and abuse

I went through hell and If it was left up to him I would still be
enjoying whatever he decided to put me through.
A dagger in the heart!
I'm tired, I want to live
I don't want to go through any more pain
Just let me be

Can I have a life without pain?
Can I please? Haven't I had enough?
I am so Tired of this.
It's time to stop.
That dagger is being pulled out of my heart
I am thrusting it back into yours
That's where it belongs.

You lived to hurt and cause suffering to others
Just because you hurt
Well no more.
I am not playing your game
I'm out of here.
I've got some living to do.

The Night

Loving night's air
Dancing underneath a full moon
Feels like lightning and thunder
As I ride the winds of time
Laughter went mad
Feeling giddy inside
Can help but smile
Living the single life.
I love it here
I am free
I spread my wings and I fly
Nothing to bind me
Everything is free
On the wings of the night air
Feel the coolness
Electricity kisses me
Seducing me further into the night
I let go
Raindrops hit my skin
Making me wet all over
I make love to the night
Feeling the excitement against my skin
Caressing me with its sweet embrace
Naked and wild passions unleashed
Uninhibited sexual embraces letting go
Never have I felt such love and freedom in one touch
Forever my lover
Forever my friend
Live into becoming one with the night air

Where's My Mousai ?

Where's My Mousai?

I speak......
No voice, no motivation
I Lost my muse
Life seems no more
God help me.
I want him back.
Even when I had him
It meant constant sorrow.

Perdition is seeable
Now standing in shadows of the sun
In oblivion
Facedown
Waiting, wanting to die

Please take my life
Give me something new
Excitement, travel
Joy, someone to love
who will love me too?

BY: Bernice Bowling

It's just me

Death shadows over many.
Wishing you were here
Candy cane kisses to comfort me
Oh, what a thrill.

My shadows embrace darkens
My mind.
He comforts me
Helps me to unwind
He was a friend in college and throughout time

My forever man
Secret lover
My constant companion
Dangerous tides
Rolling in
Storms coming
He too is my friend
I love storm

He rains upon me
Blackens my face with his water
Cooling my hot embrace
The hidden treasure of darkness
Still left unleashed
HAHA wait until they get a glimpse
The real me
The dark one
The other me.

Waiting patiently
Trying not to release but to heal
They don't care
Stop and stare
Don't make peace
Make war with me
See what you will get
You might regret
I'm not a soft bunny rabbit
For you to pet.

Hot Dogs and Flap Jacks

Hot dogs and flapjacks
this heat is getting bad
no air and I'm Here burning up in torture
Sweating wiping away like big old drops of rain
I need another cold shower

I need winter
I need ice
I need a picture of the water
Hot dogs and flapjacks
I am burning up in torture

Who turned on the grill?
Is that more heat I feel
Man this sweat is unreal
My clothes are next to nothing
I need My A/C

Hot dogs and flapjacks
I'm burning up in torture
My skin is wet
I lay in sweat
waiting up until morning

That airman better hurry up
I can wait until Monday morning
Open the doors, turn on the fans
Hot and humid and too many rooms
Why did we build such big houses

Hot dogs and flapjacks
I need the air conditioner bad
Tonight I'm sleeping out under the stars
That house is way too stuffy
Central air, Oh how I miss you.

Unchanged

He spoke to me,
After ignoring me,
When he found another.
Married was she.
He didn't care.

I was nothing,
Suddenly I'm something.
I bet he tells her the same.
Who's to blame?
I hate them both!

His drivers license is now gone,
Suddenly I'm here again.
I must have disappeared!
I mean how could I not have?
He didn't see me?

Now he does!
I'm visible once more!
Wow-what a change!
Oh poor you,
Do you need me?

I'm sorry.
Well, at least you have her.
What's that, you need me too?
Well isn't that convenient!
Oh, what to do?

I'm so sick,
I'm blue,
From being used,
And most of all,
I'm tired of you.

I still love you though.
I still care,
And I want to be there.
I have to guard my heart,
Even when we are apart.

I don't want to hurt you.
Even though you hurt me.
I still have to be stolen.
I have to be real.
I can't let myself feel.

I may try to help you.
Will it hurt?
Can I be more than dirt?
I don't want to be with you,
not anymore, it's untrue.

You want to change!
Why you can't even be my friend,
Unless you get something in the end.
What will I do?
I am not a fool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wall

Anger boiling inside from where it comes,
I can't decide.
Hurt, mad,
I lie naked, trying to hide.

Running here and there in the middle of nowhere.
Isolated from anyone drawing nigh,
Still hurt, refusing to cry a tear.

Hardening my heart,
Allowing no hurt or pain to be here again,
Like a snake, I strike sensing danger will appear.

Desert winds blow cool at night
Shadows surround me in my fight.
Struggling to survive
Trying to breathe

Someone revive me
My heart starts to beat.
Cold winds, please surround me
Protect me, help me not to fear

Someone else is coming.
Shadows come here,
Listen to sounds of footsteps
Watch out, he might be near.

The Vampire

The Vampire

I am the dark-winged one that walks your dreams
I am not what I seem
There is darkness within me
I come undone in the realms
I'll take you for a ride, and climb on the inside of you to hide.
I unclean you up, and take away your guts.
I feed on the blood of life
devouring until you are left a shadowless mass.

I will rip you apart, take out your heart
Making sure no crumbs left to sniff
I'll take you for granted

Secret dwelling drinkers drink you up
As I am their high caller.
I call to them. They're my understudy
I ravenously leave my mark
scratches down your back
Left panting and drained, energy gone.
I leave for a night
My demons delight
In my pleasure, I recite the customs handed down for ages

I laugh at the night stalker
He is mine to do with as will
I smirk at the one who seeks his thrill
for within him, I will kill the beast
No one left will run
for the demon clutches the feet
It's over the game has been one!
Victory belongs to The Shadow
The Shadow is my friend.

Freedom, Wild and Untamed

Freedom, Wild and Untamed

Sitting on a private beach in North Carolina, I saw her. She was beautiful, muscular, and strong. She was a Palomino. Her cream-colored main, flowing freely in the wind as she ran through the rushing waters of the sea. I could almost feel the ocean waters as it crashed up against her heels. She was beautiful in the wildest sense. She was free, untamed, unbridled, running with the waves of the ocean. I looked to where she was running and the light is shown down upon her, from the lighthouse, illuminating her, making her Main shine underneath a midnight sky. Swiftly she ran without fear. The waves of the ocean seemed to almost overtake her as she crashed through them. She was running toward the lighthouse. Suddenly, I realized that palomino was me!

Singed

Singed

Cruel, cold, calculated
You swept in
Picked me up
And we sinned

You smiled
When I cried
You loved to lie
She here and she there

Deceived, cloaked in a lie
I took you in
As a friend, a lover
I was there

You blew
I flew
You called
I ran
I rescued you or tried to

I fell in
my heart was turned to ash or so I thought
It healed fast
Words of whisper caressed my ear

Only a single was all it was
There is still pain
Funny how whispered words bring healing
To a broken heart.

Secret Toy Surprise

I saw her in Walmart,
The skanky ho,
Why I wouldn't have touched her with the tips of my finger
Or a ten-foot pole.

Stringy unwashed hair,
Unbathed and unclean,
She thinks you are a dream,
He He He

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
She and her crackerjack prize of a man,
She thinks she got it from me,
The thing about it is a ho's a ho,
And you don't have to care for a ho.

I've moved on,
So please leave me alone.
Don't want your drama spilling up in here,
Go home, whore moan, lol.

Fire Dancing

Energetically inclined,
Pressing on towards new horizons.
Smiling cat faces,
Dancing on the wings of time.

The newness of dew hazily pouring in,
Wetness on my skin;
Wiping away gentle drops of rain.
Shaman tries to cast his spell.

No more slaved enchantment,
Running free.
Winds blowing, cooly, brushing my hair,
Continuously existing voluntarily.

Pleasurable sensations hastily, moving,
Forward, down my spine.
Kindled emotions letting go,
All hell breaking loose.

The Dance

Droplets of sorrow drift slowly away;
Numbness setting in,
Laughter went missing,
Trees sway to the songs of songbirds,
While the cool summer breeze blows by.

Drowning in yesterday's love begotten.
Sea of mindless chanting begins,
Winding and swaying to summer's song,
Skipping through maniacal imaginations.

Laughter soon comes in,
Wildly unhinged,
Inhibitions fall to the ground,
Naked unsettled, and wild,
Dancing under the moon.

Forever dying,
Caressing silver Tins.
Holding that human carousel,
Hysteria controlling,
Unleashing chains.

The Cry of a Broken Heart

Dance my child, dance
Listen to the music of the wind
Hear the cry of the willow
Sing sorrows last song

Birds of the air cry tonight
As they breathe their last breath
They know the cheater's gone away again
Leave this place

Don't die here
Leave while you still can
Cheaters bring wreckage and betrayal
Run my child, run free in the wind

Learn to dance again
To love again
But never to trust
Never to trust again.

From The Lips Of Darkness

From the Lips of Darkness

In a woodland surrounded by foliage and nature, lurked an ancient creature, scorned and filled with rage as she watched in silence. While thoughts flooded her mind of the one who scorned her. Her long, claw-like fingers rest upon her chin as she thought about the punishment that awaited the unaware.
As beautiful as she was with her long, dark, wavy hair, cascading down her back, and resting upon her ample, breast, she was throbbing from the blood flow rushing through her veins that filled her with the passion of revenge. Her sensuous, curves transforming her into a beauty unmatched by nature.
Bloodthirsty and hungry, she opened up her lips to sing as he drew closer to where she was hiding. She began to sing softly, and hauntingly as the vines begin to wind and climb themselves into place.
What was that sweet melody, he thought, as he reached the edge of the woods. It was calling to him, wanting him to come closer. Come closer, come closer into my dreams. Take my hand let me lead you the way, the voice spoke.
Mindlessly, he walked into the woods reaching toward an unseen hand. The vines closing in behind him; blocking anyone else from entering in and preventing any escape.
As he reached the heart of the woods, the land seemed to spread out. The music stopped. Looking up, he saw her, dropping down as if from what seemed to be out of nowhere, and landing steadily on her feet like a cat. She smiled, as she drew closer, him still not yet remembering, he watched this enchanting creature move with such grace, until she kissed him on his lips. Suddenly fear gripped him as he thought he had seen this face before; touched these sweet lips. Memories began to flood back to him from many years ago.......It was then he tried to scream, but no sound would come. He couldn't move. The vines were wrapping around him. Now ridden and trembling in fear as he turned white, he knew who she was. Her what once was, normal teeth, now distorted into monstrous blades ravenous with venom, right before his very eyes. He watched in terror as she opened wide her mouth as she began to consume him little by little.
She loved the feel of his blood flowing down her chin. The taste of it in her mouth delighted her with an almost sexual glee and satisfaction. Feeling it and touching the torn flesh, she could sense and hear his agony from deep within. There was none like it anywhere else. Oh, how she loved the excitement of the kill.
Limb from limb she ripped him apart slowly and joyfully, laughing, hungrily, devouring his entire body; making sure to keep him alive so he could feel every ounce of pain that she bestowed upon him. Until finally when he had nothing left, but his torso and head, did she come down fast and hard, ripping off his head in an instant and swallowing it whole. leaving behind a bloodless upper body lying on the ground.
She immediately drew back into the shadows of the woods, and her vines going with her. Leaving the torso behind for the beast of the forest. She always did believe in feeding the animals.
